SOC Simulation Weekend Lab
A 2-day intensive weekend lab that replicates a full SOC shift twice — including handover.
About this program
Designed as a high-density refresher or stress test, this lab compresses a 12-hour SOC shift simulation into one day, then repeats it the next day with a fresh threat profile. You take handover from the prior day's team, work the queue, hand over to the next team, and write a no-blame end-of-shift report. Mentors observe but only intervene when teams ask. It is exhausting and most people learn the most from the day-2 handover.
What is included
- Two compressed 12-hour SOC shift simulations
- Handover writing and receiving — both halves
- Live red-team injects from a small adversary team

- Optional 1:1 mentor coffee on day 3
By the end of the program
- 01 Stop dropping context in handovers
- 02 Read a queue without panicking when it spikes
- 03 Know what kind of analyst you are under pressure
Frequently asked questions
Yes. We are honest: this lab is structured to put you under sustained but bounded pressure. Plan to do nothing else that weekend.
From past cohorts
Day 1 felt fast. Day 2 felt like Day 1 should have. Worth it.
The handover-receiving half was the part I needed and never get to practise at work.
Ready to talk through fit?
We do a 30-minute scenario walkthrough with admissions before any paid intermediate or advanced track. We will tell you honestly if a different program — or no program — would serve you better right now.
